Technology is only interesting when it is vigorously empowering its
users, or helping them to rethink their environment. This installation
uses the voip telephone technology to help those who experience
rethink their cellphones as pocket recording and listening
devices.
We provide a computer running the linux operating system and the
asterisk pbx software. As well contact microphone with custom
electronics for long cable runs. Depending on the material available
this installation can be very low cost.
technical requirements
The only requirements, for us to install this installation are:
- -- a speaker and amplifier
- -- a mixing board
- -- long coaxial (TV) cables to connect the mics
- -- stable high speed internet connection
- -- small fees $0.03/min of communication costs
